Summer Reading

book_stack2

Solomon notes that "there is no end to the making of many books" (Ecclesiastes 12:12, CSB). This is good news for those of us who identify as bibliophiles. I thought I would take a few moments and share with you what is on my summer reading list. Would anyone like to join me in reding one or more of these titles? Comment below and let me know. What is on your summer reading list?

As you'll quickly see, three of the books I am reading this summer concern Martin Luther. October 31st marks the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation as it was the date in 1517 that Martin Luther nailed the 95 Thesis to the church door in Wittenberg, Germany. As I prepare to travel to Germany for a "Land of Luther" study tour later this summer, I want to be well informed on the life of this Reformer. I'm also reading the story of Rosaria Butterfield's conversion to Christianity and one of the more recent biographies of the greatest basketball player of all time: Michael Jordan.
