Kids and Youth are important to us at SOMA Church Community.
KIDS
During our weekend worship service we provide a fun and safe program for kids in TK - 4th Grade. You can expect that your kids will:
- Engage in an age-appropriate & God-centered Bible lesson provided by The Biggest Story
- Bring home a craft or coloring page showing the main idea(s) of each weeks lesson
- Come together with other kids the same age to have fun and make friends!
At SOMA we value what your child is learning every Sunday and each childs personal growth in relationship with God at every age. That's why we decided to teach from The Biggest Storybook Curriculum. The Biggest Storybook includes colorful crafts, games, video lessons, a podcast, and Bible stories. SOMA Kids are currently learning about the Gospels. Learn more on their website.
YOUTH
Once a month we provide a class during our weekend worship service for students in grades 5th-9th called IGNITE. Students will gather for Bible study, open conversation, and meaningful connection with one another. Throughout the year we are exploring one core Christian belief each month using the book 12 Truths Every Teen Can Trust: Core Beliefs of the Christian Faith That Will Change Your Life.
The IGNITE dates for the remainder of the year are:
- September 13
- October 4
- November 1
- December 6
