SOMA Potluck - Puerto Rican Food

Experience community with us and enjoy a potluck lunch after the church service.

This potluck we want to do something a little different; our theme will be Puerto Rican food so if you want to bring something from the list below comment in event and we can send you the recipe or assign you an item to bring.

(Or bring a traditional potluck dish, many will enjoy that also! And someone please bring some pizzas for the kids who don't want Puerto Rican food!!) 

We need the following:
Black Beans (Katie Simmons)
Red Beans 
Arroz con Gandules (Yellow Rice)
Ground Beef Jibarito
Plaintain Chips (not homemade- bought from Trader Joes)
Pineapple Pique (Alison Leras)
Sliced Avocados 
Sliced Red Onions
Diced Tomatoes

We all know how important it is to regularly share a meal with our immediate family. It is equally important to share a meal with our church family because sitting down for a meal is a great way to connect with others and deepen relationships.
