Comfort of Hope Homeless Outreach Banquet

SOMA is blessed to participate in Comfort of Hope Homeless Outreach's 11th annual Christmas Banquet.

The event will be at our location so please be there at 9am to help with set up and plan on staying after service to help serve and clean up! It includes a sit down meal and Angel's famous shoebox gifts for all the guests and will be a fun morning for all.

SOMA is providing the cake for the event so we will need about (10) 9x13 cakes. See Kristen O if you need a recipe.

If you would like to make a shoebox here is an idea list for the box:

Toothbrush/paste
Shampoo/conditioner
Hair Brush/comb
Face towel
Hand sanitizer
Socks
Deodorant
(Female box)- pads, nail kit, face lotion, nail color
Scarf
Gift cards for lunch
Add a Christmas card too.

Please be sure to gift wrap them and write F for female or M for male on top of present.

If you have kids, filling a shoe box is a great way to teach them to give to others.

This may be the only gift someone homeless on the street might receive so let's show Jesus love in a practical way.
