SOMA Gathers & Reformation Brats

Please join us for outdoor church services in Sebastopol on Sunday mornings. We will meet in the small redwood grove by the barn.

If you can, plan to hang out after church service for a picnic lunch celebrating Reformation Sunday. We will have salads, Bratwurst and hot dogs after the service!

The Grove allows for families to stay together on a picnic blanket or in beach/camping chairs, while remaining 6+ feet away from other families in a natural setting.

Here is what you can expect: 

• Please bring beach chairs and come early to get set up.
• Since we are outside, masks are only required if you can’t maintain 6’ distance.
• We won’t be able to pass offering so please continue to give online or in the box at the front.
• Bring your own coffee or water bottles.
• Children will remain in the care of their family which we know will be difficult for many so here are some ways we want to help:
  • on the 1st & 3rd Sundays we will have a Kids Breakout time during the service for kids 1-13 years old (they will be broken up into two groups by age, 1-7 & 8-13)
  • the service is informal so noisy kids/babies are welcome!
  • feel free to bring a snack or picnic for kids to enjoy during the service
  • COVID has forced everyone to have to “accept” screens and that includes at church! Feel free to let your kid watch/play on a screen during the service. No one will be judging anyone!
