Stand Firm - 1 Peter

The Apostle Peter's first letter ends with the command to "stand firm" because of "the true grace of God" that he has written in his letter (1 Peter 5:12). This is why Christians throughout the centuries have considered 1 Peter to be one of the jewels of the New Testament. It "speaks to the needs, anxieties, hopes, and all-too-common fears of Christian men and women everywhere" (Sam Storms). For these reasons it is worth the serious study, meditation, and implication of God's people at all times and in all places.
