Sola Scriptura

July 9, 2017 Speaker: Paul Ortlinghaus Series: The Five Solas of the Reformation

Topic: Reformation Passage: 2 Timothy 3:14–17, 1 Thessalonians 2:13

In this sermon we look at what Sola Scriptura isn't, what it is, and how we are to respond to this wonderful teaching.

My working definition of Sola Scriptura comes from Matthew Barrett's book God's Word Alone: "Sola Scriptura means that only Scripture, because it is God’s inspired Word, is our inerrant, sufficient, and final authority for the church."
