Reading the Bible involves many factors: the Holy Spirit, the reader, the text, the original author and their historical context. Joe Brown discusses how to approach scripture to discover its true meaning, which often times is different from the reader’s meaning. We all have an interpretive method when reading anything, but using the wrong method when reading the Bible can determine whether you are receiving the Word of God or the word of man.
