The Gospel & The Church: A study in 1 Thessalonians
A study through the letter of the apostle Paul to the church of the Thessalonians called 1 Thessalonians.
The letter of 1 Thessalonians speaks to the interaction between the gospel and the church. In particular the apostel Paul writes to strengthen the faith of the new believers by reminding them that they have been transformed by a powerful and reliable word from God, by encouraging them to hold fast to basic Christian ethical standards, and by comforting them about their brothers and sisters who have died. These themes are fueled by the gospel!
