The Parables of Jesus were stories that changed the world. Direct communication is great for conveying basic information and facts, but parables/stories are a form of indirect communication and they find a way into the back window of our hearts and minds which is why they are so powerful. They allow us to see what we wouldn’t otherwise. They are stories with an intent.
